A little bit of left over yesterday
We returned to camp for lunch and later in the afternoon did the remaining drives. Which were to Hunters Gorge, the alternate camping area, and Janet’s Leap.
First up there is no story anywhere on why it is called Janet’s Leap.
This is a view of Hunters Gorge on the way to it. This area is also known as Diamantina Gates as it is where all the water to funnelled through to the flood plains and channels.
Gum Hole is the best camp site as it is protected and has the shade of trees. Hunters Gorge is totally exposed to all elements. The camp sites are 10 km apart so it is inconvenient to go between looking at which one to camp at.

Car Parking is not a problem.
Now for Lobby. Unfortunately his fate was sealed when we caught another.
We cooked, shelled and put them in a creamy garlic sauce to go over our pasta last night.
