Wednesday 17th December – fine clear warm sunny

Saving on pegs, the ringnecks are willing to work as replacement pegs, but for a fee.

The magpie was also in on the act and no there were no accidents.  The magpie was on our neighbours washing and managed to make sure that he cleared the shirt he was sitting on.

The big event today was washing and lunch at the kiosk – :)

The kiosk is open today and we are heading up for lunch.  Dave, Dorothy and their son Glen decided to join us.  We had planned to walk each way, but got a lift up with them and we walked back.  The Marron Pie was quite good and a Rum and Raisin Ice Cream for dessert topped it off.  Glad that we walked back :)   Dave has been having trouble with his on board battery charger and everyone is pitching in to help.  The happy hour is still a big hit, with the newbies telling where they have travelled and the permanents telling of our day trips.  Great exchange of information.

The Splendid Fairy Wrens were back at the kiosk, and I managed to get a couple of photos.  They are lightening fast and only stop for a second.
